Blind Citizens Australia (BCA) is the representative body for Australians who are blind or vision impaired. The organisation advocates on key issues and works to connect its members across the country. Its national convention, held biennially, provides the opportunity for people who are blind or vision impaired to share developments across a range of issues.
This year’s theme was “Looking Forward Looking Back” Celebrating Blind Citizens Australia.
This year is the 40th Anniversary of Blind Citizens Australia so the Convention Dinner theme was Ruby, attendees celebrated by wearing shades of Red.
Event details were:
Date: Saturday 10 – Sunday 11 October 2015
Starting with a “Welcome” function hosted by Blind Citizens WA on Friday 9th October evening from 6pm to 8pm.
The venue was the Mercure Perth Hotel
